Misfit Farms sells only the healthiest and finest bait worms that are captive-born and bred. We gut load all of our worms with premium organic ingredients, many of which are OMRI certified, along with our worm chow blends to ensure they arrive to you lively and ready for action.

Aside from making super squiggly fish bait, European Nightcrawlers are champion composters as well. They will outperform other redworm composters (Red Wigglers and Indian Blues) two to one with how much waste they can process, and they are less temperamental about their environment. Snakes, bearded dragons, and frog varieties love European Nightcrawlers as treats and Bonus! you can cut them in half for your reptiles to double your stock. (no, they will not regrow when doing this)

Since shipping can be stressful for the worms, and less moisture in their container can cause them to shrink temporarily, we choose to sell our worms by the worm count instead of by the pound. Many breeders will fatten their worms for a week or two before shipping to get more weight for the scales and for their sales (the heavier the worms, the less you would need to put in a bag = more profit) however, we find this practice deceiving to the customer. That said, you can expect a close count of whichever option you chose, and you will usually get more than the listed amount to make up for any die-off during shipping.

We have a 100% live product guarantee! We currently ship out live worms Monday through Friday (subject to change, depending on stock/season) via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx 2-day Express. Your worms will usually be delivered within 2 -3 days anywhere in the continental United States once shipped. The deadline for Monday’s shipment is Sunday by 7 pm CST (depending on availability).
